I got this case -> It's Money!

So far, I put an acryllic window in with a cold cathode light and 80mm side fan on the acryllic, and ghetto rig'd a 120mm Panaflo intake in the front. I have one question though -> I didn't get a PS yet, and I wanted to put a 120mm Panaflo at the top as a blow hole. I put in a CDRom in the top bay, and it doesn't look like it'll fit with a power supply in. Has anyone tried this?

cool, cool...you should replace that window fan with a clear one, or a clear one with leds (like this one)

I think I should be getting my Canon A40 tomorrow so I'll get some pics of my two up soon...

I got most of the stuff pcmods.com at lemme think

Acryllic + Molding = $16.99

The fans were the most expensive part, as i got 2x 120mm Panaflo's (14.99) and 2x80mm Panaflo's (10.49
The cold cathode was $34.99

The hardes part of the mod was probably cutting the fan hole/light switch for the acryllic, as with a drill it kinda cracks the acryllic, and with a jigsaw it gets so hot that after you cut around, it seals back up. Being the genius i am (j/k), i took my Black and decker fake dremel (courtesy of anandtech) and put it on the highest setting (6) and attached a sanding bit on it (sandpaper style). If you push it against the acryllic at an angle, it'll start to melt off giving you a really clean hole and you work from there.

That clear fan looks sweet, might have to buy it!

How do you know which AMD processor you can go up to with a power supply? I noticed that some had posted that this case was good up to a 1600+ XP. How did you find that information. I went to the AMD approved power supply page, but that only lists manufacturers, not models and megaherz.

I'm getting an 1800+XP and was looking at this power supply:

Enermax EG301P-VB (300w)

but I can't find anywhere that has the specs broken down into processor speed.

Can anyone help me?

I had a 1700+ used with this power supply for a while...I think there's been a few people in here that have put 1800s and 1900s in this box using this psu. your 1800 should be fine that is unless you plan to overclock it, then this psu would not be the BEST choice

Does nyone know if you can use a 120mm fan for the front w/o having to make extra vents or screw holes?

a 120x25mm will fit but you'll need to drill out new mounting holes and might as well cut out a 120mm hole

sorry, No I should've specified in that post...did this myself...hence the "update with my mod pics" topic title change. Bought the cold cathode light kit from pcmods.com and I forget where I got the window kit from...hmm... did it myself with a dremel and time..

Just got the beige one with no PSU.

Did anyone notice how the hard drives in the hard drive cages are real close?

....and that unless you have a long IDE cable like 36 inches or so you can't mount a hd in the bottom cage and a cdrom on the same IDE cable unless it is in one of the lower 5 1/4" bays?

Also, Why do they provide a filter with the side fan intake, but non on the bezel or the front of the case for the front air intake?

Should I try to find some filter material for the front? Has anyone used a filter for the front intake?

I decided to put one 80 gig on the 2nd spot of the 1st hard drive cage and the 2nd 80 gig on the top of the 2nd cage.

BigEdMuustaffa, how about just adding a ata100/133 card? It should do the trick.
I don't see a real need for the filter, unless you're really anal about dust getting into the fan. I took off the side fan though, no use for it.
