They modified terms to 6 total transactions a while ago.

Just clicked on terms now and I believe it still says 6 total transactions.

I would be careful about trying to game the system with cash equivalents. I remember reading some comment about how Microsoft or eBay said that could be considered money laundering.

That's why I created a new Ebay account.

So what would stop somebody from having a friend post something for sale on ebay with buy it now, they buy it and get cash back, but their friend never sends them the item and just gives them their money back. Keep on doing this over and over until you get your max amount back.

For example:

1. 1. Josh buys a TV from his friend Andrew for $650 through buy it now on ebay
   
   2. Josh sends his friend Andrew a payment of $650 through Paypal for the TV
   
   3. Josh Uses live.com cashback and gets 30% back from the $650 purchase, so $195 back
   
   4. Andrew never sends the TV to Josh, and Andrew just withdrawals the money from his PayPal account and gives it back to his friend Josh
   
   5. Josh makes $195 through cashback yet he never purchased the TV
