Read them all, you're fine, just max of 6 purchases per eBay account, nothing says only 6 per person or address.

I bet this deal is going to disappear soon.....what else to buy? Can't think of any cool gadgets that I don't have besides a MP3 player but I don't listen to music much.

I would really like to buy all the parts for a new computer using the 30% off but I don't need a new one......I really don't need anything....but I just have to buy considering this deal

Got a new 4870 video card, figured I would need it for Farcry 2 that comes out October 21st. I would really like to get another 2GB of memory to make my total memory 4GB, but then I would have to format my computer, install Vista 64bit and all the drivers = pain in the ass.

I was an idiot to buy all these new parts from new egg... but they were much lower than 666.67 and I wanted max for 6 I could get.

I know it's hard as heck to find out what you want let alone need.

Edit OK .....just ordered electric boat anchor via Mrs Zebo's acct and getting cash back! I am going to cancel over at (a matter a fax) Thanks for heads up! BEST DEAL EVER!!!

There are a few things you are missing on your list you posted before, mabye buy a GPS unit and a LCD HD TV....and maybe a xbox 360 or PS3 to go along with it?

A GPS unit is a must if you go on car trips or travel alot. Never have to use a map again, they are so convenient. I would have to say buying a GPS is one of the best purchases I have ever made, the Garmin's are very user friendly....I would suggest getting the Nuvi 750 or Nuvi 850 depending on your budget. Nuvi 850 is real nice since you can just speak commands to it while you are driving, I have used it for a few days now and it works great. Before that I owned a Nuvi 750 and loved it, same thing, just without the voice command option.

I don't see how. They are going to pay out a ton of cash (if they pay it) and we'll all still use Google. Where is the benefit for MS let alone genius? Seems retarded to me.

Brand recognition?
Maybe in cahoots with ebay or paypal?
The 70 days they have for cashback they are investing wisely?

I would say you are correct in that most people will not use their search engine, but that could just be a small factor in the scheme of things. I know when I talk about it with friends or tell someone about it, I don't say live search cashback (mostly because nobody knows what live search is), I say microsoft cashback. It definitely makes me like MS as a company Maybe all the word of mouth is worth the cash.

How much do you think MS spends on advertising campaigns? How much did Seinfeld cost? A small portion of people will actually max out the $1200 on each account. If MS set out just 50million it would take 40,000+ people maxing out their cashback to reach that amount.

Lets set a more realistic $300 cashback for each person. That's more than 160,000 people MS just made happy. Those people probably talked about their new fancy gadgets they just got for cheap.

Bottom line is I'm pretty sure that the price per a sure thing in making someone happy with MS as a company is financially sound move.

Somewhat correct in my opinion,... they are not making money in that 70 days you have to wait by investing that money though,... it was already theirs to invest to begin with and would be for longer than 70 days.

Where they make up money is ad revenue,.... the more people going through their search engine, the more they can promote ads, charge for ads, etc on their site. Very similar to dial up days when AOL would give away free service basically to keep their membership high so they could generate ad revenue.

It is also to get people used to their search engine,... a percentage will actually change usage and use the Live search engine once they become used to it,... not everyone is in love with Google.... I personally never use it.

I have a feeling this will last about 2 more days at the most then drop, so I advise to buy something if you plan on it ASAP

live search engine is certainly attractive to the eye by comparison to even google. I wish MS good luck. Yahoo has to win the award so far for dumbest business decision this century when they rebuked MS offer. I hope they pass them that's for sure.

Still up as of way too early this morning of 10/15. Added the 4 yr. extended service warranty for $99 minus 30 to the laundry center I bought last week (that I saved 20% on--basically free shipping!). Also picked up an AGP videocard I needed for an old system last week and getting $15 back on that.

Very nice deal!

Looks like they kicked up the # of purchases from 6 to 12..

You may receive Cashback Rewards for up to a maximum of twelve (12) Online Sessions per account on www.eBay.com. Once you have completed twelve (12) Online Sessions under any eBay.com account, you will no longer be eligible to receive Cashback Rewards for purchases made under such eBay.com account.

The high percentages (30%) don't come often, it was 35% back when the program first started up a few months ago, and the highest it has been since was 20%, then it was at 8% for a long time and now it just jumped to 30% for this past week.

So I wouldn't wait till spring, but that's just my advice.
