The banner isn't showing up for me anymore either. I made a purchase early this morning but now that I want to buy something else, I can't get the cashback banner. I hope it comes back before my item is sold or the percentage drops.

Hold down ctrl and click on the banner multiple times to open up several tabs....see page 55 of this thread.

I just went to live.com and typed in "cheap wii" and still get the 30% banner, and when it sent me to eBay I saw the banner on the top still.

The issue isn't how to get the advertisement at Live.com, it's how to get it activated at eBay. I've tried the trick of holding down the Shift or CTRL key (too) many times and it has no effect at all.

Since this deal has been off-and-on for several months now, I'm assuming that people have gotten the actual cash-back by now from early purchases?

Their terms have me a bit concerned, "Neither eBay nor PayPal have any obligations to you regarding Cashback Rewards or your participation in the Program." So, they keep track of it, but at Live.com there is zero indication of Ebay as a cash-back partner, and I don't get emails for my Ebay purchases like I do for my Newegg 3% cash-back purchases.

I've logged into my Live.com cash-back account and all my recent purchases (including from Friday) are "pending" but still no Ebay purchases on the list. However, my Ebay inbox has all the purchases.

I've gotten my cashback just fine.
It shows up as ebay, shoemall, etc. under the details part on the cashback page
I get cashback link in my ebay messages folder
I get e-mails from live.com cashback whenever they accept/send whatever

It takes 1-2 days for me to get an ebay msg saying I have cashback
It takes another couple days before it shows up in cashback account
Takes a couple days for them to send the cash to paypal once I redeem

I've already received the cashback into my PayPal account for purchases I made 2 months ago.

When you make an eligible buy on Ebay, you get a message in your Ebay inbox that says "You've earned cashback". To get the purchase registered at Live.com, you have to click the yellow "Get Cash Back" button in that message and log into your Cashback account. It takes about 2 days after that for the purchase to appear in your Live.com account.

One thing I just noticed. Sometimes my live.com account thinks I'm from UK. and I don't get the 30% off when it is that way.

Check the upper right corner (besides option, cashback, and sign in). If it says anything other than United States, click it and change it to U.S. That fixed my problems.

Yeah I've already got a Wii and Xbox 360, and there really aren't any exclusive PS3 games I really want, although Little Big Planet looks kind of fun. Hopefully God of War 3 doesn't take too long to come out. At least I have a 1080P LCD so I can take advantage of the blu-ray aspect of the PS3.

I almost bought an E8500 and an HD4870 too, but I think I can wait for those.

You misunderstood me, you hold down ctrl and click on the 30% advertisement on live.com, open like 30 tabs or so of eBay....click through them all to find a one that has a 30% banner at the top of the eBay page....I did that and found like the last 10 tabs all showed 30% at the top of the eBay page.

No, I didn't misunderstand -- Holding down the Shift key when you click on a link opens the link in a new window (or tab if you are using a tabbed browser) and I've tried that over 200 times today without ever seeing the Cashback banner at eBay.

Ebay has a "new" search that is used by default. I personally hate it. But anyway, I found that the cashback logo doesn't appear on the new search very often. Do a search on ebay, go down to the bottom of the search, look for "Opt out" to go back to the older search. Now go to live, click on ad banner, and it should show up now.

Is it possible to use "buy it now" and have the seller adjust the price for purchasing multiple items? A seller offered me a package deal with free shipping for three items, and I want to maximize the total cashback available to me by buying each item separately, but I don't want to jeopardize my chance to get the cashback.

Got myself a router for $27 shipped (WNR834B, seems like a hit or miss router, so hopefully it's a hit for me). Been looking for one a week or two, couldn't really find anything on the forums worth buying, so a refurbished of Ebay (with 90 day warranty at least) will have to do. Still have 8 more things I can buy on my account with the new purchase limit.

is there an easy way to see if an ebay store uses ebay's checkout or uses a 3rd party ? want to pick up a hdtv and get the 30% cashback, but don't want to buy something then find that i can't use the cashback offer because they don't use ebay's checkout
