You will know during the buying process. If you don't see the cashback during the buying process don't complete the transaction.

Well the max cashback you can get on a purchase is $200, so if you are paying over $665 for the 3 items, then you will max out at $200.

I mean you could have the seller jack up the price and just ship you the 3 items, but through eBay/Paypal you will only be 'protected' for the one you bought, so the seller could easily screw you over.

Each item will net me the $200 maximum, so I want to buy each item separately so I can get $600 total. He offered me a package deal for about $180 off the total price, but I don't know if refunding a portion of the "but it now" price will forfeit my ability to get the cashback. Maybe I should just be happy with the great discount and not get too greedy?

um depending on shipping such this should be a no brainer.

you get 600cashback if you buy separately or you get 180 off + 200 back or 380...

600 > 380

If he sends you any type of refund you will lose the cashback

Thanks, I figured as much. It would have been nice to save a little more for the package and combined shipping, but $600 trumps the little saved off combined shipping.

lol, the seller was willing to let me buy the 3 items separately, and then adjust the price by clicking on the "request quote from seller" button on eBay. It would have theoretically netted me the $600 + money saved on combined shipping + the $180 package deal discount.

But I'm very happy with saving the $600. How does that saying go: Bird in one hand is better than two in a bush?

Well, my MSI Wind came in today, and my wife liked it so much she made me buy her one. :laugh: Mine's white, she wanted black. Guess that's the way we roll. Uh wait, that didn't sound right.

I'm pretty impressed with the seller of my MSI Wind... got it in two days. Also, my Guitar Hero package got to me in two days. Gosh, I suck at that game.

Yeah i wonder how that would work.

Lets say I was purchasing an item for $800 BIN...I would save the max $200 but I "Request quote" and he sends me an invoice for $700. Would I still get the $200 since I would have gotten it reguardless of the price? Its technically not a refund.

hehe, my Eee 901 arrived 2 days after I ordered also, and my wife tried to steal it. Although I tried to buy her one but she didn't think she needed it.
