will do. the MK IV was tempting too, but i think ultimately i prefer the solid state sound. also the simplicity/limitation of not having a ton of different tubes to buy and try rolling.

Woot, just checked my live account as well and looks like I'll be getting cashback for all three purchases in 59 days.

Canon EF-S 17-85, Canon EF 70-300 and Adaptec 31605 for just $1K. If it wasn't for the cashback I would have spent almost that much on lenses alone.

Yeah, the discounts are showing up in the Live accounts about a day after the purchase. This is looking very good so far, better than most rebates I have dealt with since they acknowledge the submission very quickly. :thumbsup:

Man, now I wish I had bought more things.

I'm just curious... why didn't you go for the 75-300, the newer version of that lens? I think they're about the same price but the updated version is overall a better lens.

I think you got that all wrong. 70-300 is much newer and also about 2x the cost.

Ditto, also showed up in my account for the two items I bought. People in FW are saying that the 10% coupon CJUNE0810P will stack, but others are saying it wouldn't. I tried a different coupon but that didn't work during checkout.
I think I'll save the other 65% if they never offer the 35% again

That code only works for a subset of accounts, it was a promo email they sent out. I believe it's also only 10% off of up to 100 so it's not much to worry about
