Yeah, my process was actually eBay -> Buy.com -> PayPal. Somewhere in there, I lost the 30% cashback even though the title listing said it was eligible (you'd think Buy.com would know afterall).
I've contacted eBay support for help but I don't know how much help they'll be. The weird thing is, the monitor is still showing up under my eBay as not being paid...
If I can't get the 30% cashback, I'm just going to cancel the order.

Does this coupon count towards the $200 cap? I'm planning on buying a $850 camera and would hate to waste that 10%, as the 30% more than maxes the $200 cap.

I haven't no. It doesn't effect the sellers at all so why would they jack up their prices? You still pay the sellers full price, you just get money back from microsoft. It doesn't discount anything on the seller's end.
So there's a couple things possibly happening here:
a.) you're full of shit
b.) holiday time causes price increase
c.) newegg is having some decent sales on what you were looking at
d.) the prices have always been high and you're just now noticing
I've noticed that prices are higher, especially one's that list the ability to save money using the live.com deal. A couple of items I'm interested are considerably higher than any online stores.
Sorry, I should mention I haven't really looked at ebay a whole lot until just now so haven't had much time to notice it. I still haven't, but I guess it might not just be the holidays.

Not really. He asked if we noticed a price increase and I honestly with the few things I was just looking at, did not. After people said they have, I thought I should point out I might not be the best source of info. And I still think what I originally said holds true, that the MS cashback program shouldn't be effecting the sellers as it's only MS giving away money not a discount on the price that effects the seller.
A lot of the sellers do take the Cashback program into account since they can charge more and still, essentially, sell the item for a small amount less than they had before (if the Cashback actually safely arrives, not that they care).
