Updated 9/20: Bing cashback

Speaking of which...I tried to get my cashback MONTHS ago, and paypal never sent it. BUT, paypal has it listed as a completed transaction, and my PP account has 0.00.
That was a decent chunk of change - 77 dollars...could last for 3 weeks worth of gas.

Has anyone had paypal say "payment complete" but never recieved a check? What happened? I'm worried I'm outside my statue of limitations because I requested it in MARCH, and it is already August (only remembered it just now as I was looking at this thread)'

You can email them and ask them for another check? They'll check their records and if the check was never cashed I don't see a problem with sending you a new one.

I was just wondering (& I haven't read the entire thread, so if my question's already been asked i'll apologize in advance) if the vendors will raise their prices accordingly for this promotion?

I'm sure some will (ebay mostly) but I doubt most major stores will - they'd lose a lot of customers.

I have seen places raise up prices. They don't raise it by the exact amount, but I remember prices being 15%ish most expensive back when it was 25-30% Cashback

An annoying bing screw: I wanted to buy a "Samsonite Business Cases Ballistic Nylon Laptop Case" from ebags. If you sidestep Bing, the bag is $39.99 shipped. But...when you search ebags going through Bing, the retail price is $49.99. I gave up in disgust - its easier to use bing at ebay, but I hate that they use false advertising to give you a "sale" price that is actually not a sale price...even if it is a few $ cheaper, I don't like the manipulation. Bah.

If a store is listed as having a range of cashback % like from 1%-6% how do you know how much cashback is going to be awarded before purchasing?

pretty sure tigerdirect raises the price of a product, if you come from bing cashback link. i've seen a few items go down 5-10%, if I cleared cache/cookies and went directly to tigerdirect.com instead of going there from bing.com

I've tested this out with many products at TigerDirect and have never found a price to be different depending on whether I was coming through Bing or not.

I have never seen tigers prices change either.

i think the reason is , if you go to a store through "Cashback stores" its different than going to that store through a search link.

I bought something of Ebay this morning at 10% and it shows as pending in my Live Account. However, I did not see anything about double CB, and the pending amount is for the 10% :disgust:

if you go on the store list and actually click "go to store" it shows the doubling there.

the tiger direct and ebay links from searches are not doubled (i just bought something from tigerdirect with the 12% link,... still better than the 5% x 2)

See the FAQs for "Double Savings Days." Not all stores are participating, and not all are doubling. Most are, though.

How would one know what items?
When does it show the cash back that one would get?
I have a hard drive in my basket, but don't want to pull the trigger till I know yea or nay if it's 20% or not.

Regarding this, it seems if you buy a 3 for X deal, you get cashback on the original price (i.e. 3 shoes for 99.99, original price is 49.99 each, you get cashback on the 49.99 portion.)
