Anyway this came out on 6/17 it looks like. In a few short weeks, the people who did this first should be able to report back.

It's coupon code sent to few Paypal email address, which ONLY they can use. So, if you don't know what it is, that means you haven't received an email, and you can't use. (I only received 1 out of 3 Paypal accounts, and only that 1 account can use coupon, the other 2 can't)

No, he's talking about the link in the ebay messages. It will look something like:

I've e-mailed eBay & MS. I've not heard from eBay, but got a short reply from MS explaining to me how to open & view messages from eBay. I replied telling them that the messages had expired & am now awaiting another reply.

Well I just ordered a set of Taylormade R7 TP Irons, got 25% off for the Live Search plus the 10% Paypal Code. I got about $150 off with the cashback, and $60 off for the 10%. So all in all, the Irons were about $625 - 210 = 415. Pretty hot deal when other sites are charging $799 for the same set of irons!

You could try getting multiple paypal accounts like everydae who reported above that he/she got a code in only 1 of their 3 accounts. I got my first PP code after clicking on the thing on ebay bucks but didn't get a code for July. (I'll probably get it now after I've already purchased a lens).

Edit: Forgot to mention that it looks like it's down to 20% now.

I first used Firefox to do this and i didn't get any cashback link on the Live page. I tried it again in IE and it popped right up with a 20% promo. Give it a shot if it doesn't work in FF!

How frequent do they change the percentages? Also, is there a certain pattern in how often they change them? ex; weekends 20%, weekdays 25%?

It probably fluctuates based on traffic, that is afterall the whole point of the promotion, the more it's used the less cashback they give out, and as it starts to die down they up the percentage to draw more hits.

I've been away for several days on vacation, and I come back and now I can't get any of the CB links to actually take effect. Cleared cookies for both Firefox 3.x and IE; still get the 25% Cashback link listed with a search at Live, but then when I log into my Ebay account and try to check on Buy Now items, I never see the Cash Back icon at the top of the screen, nor does it ever list anything when I click on the buy now items to check on their total price before confirmation of order.

Anyone else having any problems like that?

Don't sweat it. The 25% link doesn't actually work (they turned it off sometime on Friday). The cashback logo doesn't appear when you click on a 25% but does when you click on 20%. ccubed, that's your answer.

DSF, a qualified yes. As long as the seller doesn't have a 3rd party checkout--then the page will tell you that it only works with paypal. So you'll have confirmation either way.
