keep clicking on search, I got it finally to come up.

I just don't have anything to buy. Wife would kill me if I bought a 700 dollar fish finder.

Yeah, just keep refreshing until it comes up. I notices the ebay link was gone, and I tried some other searches with no luck. Then I just kept hitting refresh, and eventually I got it.

I think this deal is dead... I just purchased a 105 dollar car with BIN, and i have NO indication that I have the 25% off, even though I clicked on the link through live.com saying that I have 25% cash back. I went through the entire purchase process, and even signed up with Live.com, and no indication. I guess I just lossed 20 bucks trying this thing out. Am I doing something wrong here?

Here's what I did:

Went to http://live.com/

searched for "cheap diecast"

I saw the sponsored link saying "Live cash back!" Cheap Ebay models, May get 25% off with paypal if eligible. I clicked on it.

Took me straight to ebay. I searched for G55 AMG 1/18. Clicked on buy it now.
Confirmed the buy it now. Went to paypal to pay for the product.
Signed up for live.com

Nothing. Looks like now, I have no ebay messages saying I got cash back. Now I'm stuck with an extra account I don't need, and 20 dollars above an item that hasn't had any bids, with 1 hour to end its auction.

I guess I got screwed out of this one, but hey, 20 bucks is worth a try... I suppose.

crap.. just read that the 25%'s all doesn't work, since it's glitchy... the 20% does though...

Is it an auction or is it buy it now? I am confused why you say there are bids. The deal only works on buy it now items

Has anyone had trouble accessing live cashback, either from eBay or directly from Microsoft's page? After over a month, I have never been able to connect to the site & this weekend lost the eBay email stating I have cashback available. Any ideas as to what to do?

Did you log into your cashback account?

FWIW, I had to clear my cookies and log out of everything before I could get the access to the live deals.

25% seems to be working now (at least I get the flag on ebay)

Edit: "silver bullion" brings up the 25%
Edit2: looks like more and more keywords are converting to 25%. If you still want 20% "lens" works for now ^_-

$20 is NOT an expensive lesson. You will get royally boned for quite a bit more down the road I'm sure. Most people call this phase "college".

So what can i do to make items i have up on ebay now show up for people who are getting the live.com discount? It sure would make my stuff more likely to sell.

(small lots of memory, fully assembled PC, 22" widescreen display, etc....)

It's my understanding that as long as my auction has a buy it now option im good?

well guys I just got a Asus HD 4850 for $125 shipped on ebay!. Not a bad deal at all. 25% from "silver bullion" and 10% redeption code ebay sent me a week or so back. And no rebates,

Original cost
195 free shipping
175 (After 10%)
125(After additional 25%)

Such a great deal!
= Woot! Cheap high performance GFX card.

When I tried to place an order with a vendor that the promo didn't work for, I got a pop-up message right away about it ("this vendor uses and external order processing system that doesn't go through papyal directly", or something similar to that). So, in my one experience, it will in fact tell you if something is amiss. No guarantees of course...

yeah it did the same thing for me. I had to go through a few vendors before I could find one that uses a non-3rd party checkout system.

Best bet for sellers on this deal seems to be using Free Shipping, and making sure your total Buy It Now cost is competitive with the standard rates going for the same items when factoring in the other guys' shipping costs. Those are the things I'm looking for (well that, and if they are based out of CA. Damn taxes!

I am ticked off about this

over 1 month ago I bought 2 things, qualified for cash back (about $40) but it hadn't shown up in the cash back account. (A third item I bought later did.) Sent an email to support (since there is no phone number!) and they said "yeah we've had this issue a lot stay tuned" and then finally sent me an email asking me to reply with the transaction IDs. Well, they sent it from their "no-reply" account  So I sent the reply to the first support account and I get the same "yeah we've had this issue with others stay tuned" crap again. Then I get an email asking me to rate the support on how they did. Dang it you did NOTHING! So I left the feedback as such :|

I've backed up the messages from ebay telling me exactly how much cash back I earned too.

Any sort of rebate it seems is sketchy on whether you receive it or not it seems.

Has ANYONE here had this issue with some purchase not showing up? Ever get it resolved? I'm not very happy :frown:

I think the limit is $1000. You can't get cashback on anything over 1k! (tried )

Max you can get back on one item is $250
So 3 x $250 = $750 is max for one eBay account.

Bought a $500+ item and about one day later had an email in my linked email account stating that I had a valid transaction and what my cash back amount was so for me this has been pure gold.

Thanks OP!

I use the normal checkout system, so I should be golden
