This is pretty much the best promotion ever, IMHO. Damned if it didn't get me using their search engine and clicking on stuff.

I only wish they were doing it in the spring, when I typically get my large bonus.

Sorry, I misread the T&C below. However, it does seems like you do need to redeem the cashback via paypal and not by check. Once you get it into paypal you can transfer it to your bank account.

2 Additional Redemption Requirements. In addition to the redemption requirements in Program Terms, You must redeem Cashback Rewards obtained as a result of a purchase on www.ebay.com exclusively via your PayPal account.

I hope that's not true b/c I'm sure Paypal is going to take a nice chunk of change out of that (fee)

its not, I don't think he actually understood the terms.

my mistake, I didn't realize they changed the terms. now for the purchases made prior to the change, do we still got 3 ways to get our money? Also, when I go into motors to buy something now since we get 3 more purchases, the terms in ebay motors still have the old 3 purchase limit. I don't know what to make of that.

Give it a few hours/a day - it sometimes takes a while to show up. My first took about 20 minutes, the second about 20 hours.

Well I got the email in ebay, "You've earned cashback", that I qualified and I should click on the link... but it's been about 36 hours but still no "Pending" in my LIve.com queue.

They'll probably raise it again after the weekend. The discount seems to always decrease ~Fri only to go up ~Sun/Mon.

Neither 20 nor 25% links from saved tabs are working so it looks like they turned off those percentages for now.

I didn't have a listing either, but I just checked again (weeks after the purchase) and it's pending with 28 days remaining.

No, 6 is only for ebay.


Also, people from FW are reporting that their cashback is now available; however, it's only available as a Paypal in 14 days (though probably no fees, similar to FW cashback).

Tempting but if I try it I'll do it on a new account as others on FW are doing. 35% hasn't been alive for two months, so seeing a bunch of new 35% CB's is going to make it obvious that some kind of tampering is going on.

I think CAUG2008CSA10P is the real code. However, it didn't work for me.

I wonder who's lucky enough to get the $500 off. You can test the codes with an immediate payment required auction. Make sure you sign into paypal as the code will initially take off the amount but it won't "stick" unless it's active for your account.

15% off isn't bad, but I am glad I jumped at the 25% when I could.

It might ramp back up, though, I suppose. Microsoft and eBay are clearly quite pleased by this little event.

Just got my first cash back for the 35% CB...$135 to my pp account which will be good after 14 days.

Not too shabby. I was really cautious on the first one I bought because it was just the start of CB.

Got something I really needed so I won't be risking anything if the promotion did not pan out.
