i thought i saw it @ 1.0% i believe i viewed over at fw that in the new york times biz section that the ebay deal ended dec 17.

sucks because i wanted to get a few more things @ 20-25% off. oh well, glad i got what i did and didn't procrastinate.

My last attempted transfer to PP yielded that exact same rejection notice -- and in my case, nothing has changed either.

Not good - I've still got nearly $200 sitting in there either waiting for transfer or pending. Hope they honor this according to their stated terms.

This might be just a bit OT, but I can only redeem my cashback thru PayPal now. Is there a way I could get it so I don't have to spend it? If I take it out thru PayPal, will I be able to get it back to my bank?

Yep, just do a cash out within Paypal. They will transfer it to your bank acct. within 3-5 days....

Watch out MS denied my purchase because Newegg gave a promo code and MS said you cannot use both. I looked at the fine print and sure enough its a line that states denied if other cash discounts or promos.......
Eather they are getting watching closer or I was unlucky.

Submit a support ticket. They'll put it back. It shouldn't be denied for promo codes given out by the company. I've done 40+ newegg transactions through live.com cashback, many of which had promo codes involved, and haven't had one denied yet.

Just say that the purchase was made as part of an advertised deal.

Just because it wasn't enforced earlier doesn't necessarily mean it's still not against their ToS. If I use a coupon code I make sure the deal is good enough that cashback is just icing on the cake, in case it gets canceled.

Who is asking? I have never had ms live cashback ask for any passwords (other than their own)

What do you mean by your Chase online log in info?

It's been a while since I've added a bank account to paypal, but from what I remember, they ask you for your routing # and account #, which can be found on your checks from your bank. Then they will make two small deposits (couple of cents) into your bank account, and then you'll have to confirm/verify the amounts deposited by Paypal to show that you are the actual bank account holder.
