Overall, it still can't hold a candle to the Mazda 3S in terms of interior design, fit, and finish.

For 2006, all Civic Sedan and Civic Coupe models are powered by a Single Overhead Cam (SOHC) 1.8-liter inline four-cylinder design with 16 valves, a new version of i-VTEC, and a dual-stage intake manifold. The engine produces 140 horsepower @ 6300 rpm (up from 127 horsepower at 6300 rpm, EX trim level), 128 lb-ft. of torque at 4300 rpm (up from 114 lb-ft. @ 4800 rpm, EX trim level)
Emissions / Fuel Economy
* Estimated EPA fuel of 30/40 city/highway (automatic transmission)
* Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle-2 (LEV-2)

Yep if dealers don;t price them to high I see them moving very well with 30MPG in the city. Even if gas does come down a bit, i don;t think exxon (or any other oil copmpnay) will let them come down to much now that they have a taste for EXTRA profit.

Id take a Mazda3 over that sh!t any day. Half the reason some of you freaks think it is decent...is purely the fact that its a Honda.
Really? I think that it looks really odd from the side too, but I can't put my finger on it. The doors look too high, the front is kind of blunt/flat, and that C-pillar is funky. I'm sure that it's aerodynamic/slippery, but it looks odd...Originally posted by: jbWHO
saw the car in person today.
it looks good from side but front view is fugly! (just can't get use to that H mark...too big!!!)
IMO too much of radical design change.
...but i'm sure i'll see tons of civics running around here in columbus ohio soon.
