oh and another thing, i feel the same way about the dishes and the garbage...couple of my roommates feel that its necessary to leave dirty crap in the sink for as long as possible...i used to do everybody's dishes at my apartment, but gave that up when they didn't reciprocate...they don't even have the common courtesy to do their own dishes...i dont think they understand that dirty plates=rats, and roaches. and dont get me started on the garbage. argggg they left a mountain of garbage overflowing out of the can and onto the floor for almost 3months...i couldn't take it anymore and started to clean it up, and the whole time, they SAT there and WATCHED me clean it up, didn't offer to help, didn't thank me afterwards, and to this day, i dont think they've taken out the garbage except one other roommate he's alrite w/ the whole garbage thing. i see garbage hanging from hooks, garbage on top of random things so that the rats dont get to it....but they dont learn...JUST THROW IT OUT. whew...

Things were really bad between my roomate and I for obvious reasons. What I did was completely isolate him. I made him so uncomfortable that he would only come out of his room to go to the bathroom. That and that all his friends abandonded him basically drove him crazy. He lived like that for 9 months. Near the end I was told by one of the few people that talked to him that he was becoming suicidal.
