Don't forget that EB is doing a trade-in deal, too.. trade any 4 GB or GBC games in, get a GBA game for free. I did this yesterday with 4 crappy titles, they didn't bat an eye. Walked away with a copy of Castlevania: Circle of the Moon for free (while my buddy paid $53 with tax). We each have a Japanese GBA, and have been playing just about non-stop since

GBA for $89 is a nice deal, imho. Very nice piece of hardware..you'll get many hours of gaming goodness from it.

I also love EB's trade-in policy. I took at cheap-ass games in, and now I have F-Zero and Rayman...80 bucks worth of stuff for crap I never played...nice. All in all, I'll end up with the system, Tony Hawk, Mario, F-Zero, and Rayman for 160, not a bad deal, if I do say so myself.

Yep, most places have it for $89.99. Target in my area also has a free game walled with the purchase of Mario Advance of F-Zero which are at the same $25.88 as mentioned above.

Also, for $ 33.88 is ChuChu Rocket, and for $34.88 are Iridon 3D, Earthworm Jim, Rayman Advance and Ready 2 Rumble 2. This is $5 off of the suggested retail, not hot but a savings nonetheless.

Lik-Sang.com has them. No point in getting them now though, since the cartridge is only 64M. This will hold all launch titles, and a few more soon to be released ones. The GBA has support for 512M cartridges, so I'd wait to get one till later.

The only thing with Lik-Sang is it is in Japan (I think) and you must pay international shipping.

I preordered mine through Target about a month ago. I wonder if I'll still get the headphones. Super Mario and F-Zero are cheapest at Target and KMart but the other games seem to be the same prices everywhere.

One more thing about the GBA Linker is that it is incompatible with the Mario game. There's some vendor all over Usenet (do a deja.com search for &quot;Gameboy Linker&quot who mentions that on their site. They say that it is because of copy protection--so that makes me wonder how many future games will be incompatible.

That's interesting about the 64 Mb size being insufficient in the future. However, the current batch of games seems to be in the 2-4 MB or (16-32 Mb) range. I should know, having downloaded some today.

I am thinking of hitting Target before they open (8am), not sure how early I should show up - if anyone with experience in this sort of thing can post some suggestions that would be great.

Best Buy in Costa Mesa seems to be the best bet for games with their 10/20 off for 2/3 games respectively. A good deal would be to grab them at BB with the promotion then come back and price match 110% from Target, Walmart etc.
