I severely miss the ability to sort as we want and being returned to the top of the page after having read a post. If I wanted to read all the old, bumped posts, I would have set my preferences that way to begin with.

It's a good attempt to make things "spiffier", but there's just to much clutter, and too much scrolling and wasted space. What I want is to be able to scan a lot as quickly as possible, and this is a move in the wrong direction.

it's gonna take some getting used to for me... don't like a separate pop-up screen for entering log-in info... seems like an unnecessary extra step... i think too many colors and icons makes it harder to focus on the content. this may change if I adjust to the new look... then again maybe it won't

day 2 and i still miss page-number navigation on the topics list, and sorting by date-created

can those features be incorporated? pretty please?

takes some getting used to... also would love to have the feature of having ability to customize how many posts per page rather than a default amount - 20(?) posts per page isn't enough... i have my FW set to 50 per page.

you can still set # of posts seen in the profile settings.....I think....I thought I saw it there when I was looking for a way to enable 'most recent posts first'.....but well..never could find that..

Strong second to that. The font size is impervious to browser settings, and the option to fix it in the profile is gone. The forums are now very hard to read. Please fix this!

For those of you who have?for one reason or another?tied yourself to Internet Explorer (or one of its derivatives like MyIE2 or Avant Browser), you can override the size of the text that has been forced on you using the following option.

Tools -> Internet Options -> Accessibility button (in lower right) -> Enable the option for "Ignore font sizes specified on Web pages"

You should now be able to change the font size using the View -> Text Size option. Keep in mind that this will could possible adversely affect the text size of other web sites that you visit until you disable the aformentioned option. This is not a problem for alternative web browsers like Opera or Mozilla Firefox where you can change the text size in each tab independently.

catrats: That's a GREAT tip --Thanks. That makes CNN.com more readable, too.

I may try Firezilla again. It didn't work too well last year when I tried it.

Firezilla works great. Mozfox isn't bad either. Erm I mean if you are a power web user you should definitely use Mozilla, quite a few user problems (font size, yellow spacing bar) have been eliminated using Mozilla's native features. Firefox has the same features but a easier-to-use interface.

Can't use ieSpell in the boderless javascript reply window so no spell checking. I would also like to specify font size in my profile without ignoring font sizes specificed for ALL web pages. I only want to increase them on Anandtech.

I must admit the forums look better in Firefox 0.8 than in IE, with or without the Accessibility trick. Glad I tried it again. Got tabs, too. (I don't want to hijack the thread to a browser discussion, though
