They're rated from 1X to 40X, supposedly.
Since I don't have a 40X burner, i'll try at 24X (thanks to the anandtech forums!).

the deal at staples for philips 100 CDRs was good where u made 10 bux.
these r crappy , not heard of AT&T CDRs.

My Lite-On 24X CDRW burns these AT&T discs just fine. Might wanna invest in a new burner if you're having problems with these. They're nothing special, but for 99 cents, what did you expect?

I just received my rebate check from the last time Best Buy had these AT&T CD-R's for somthing like $3 AR (probably 4 weeks ago). The check is from Verbatim, so the CDIdentifier program was correct.

$10 pre rebate...and I've not seen better for awhile (well, except for craptastic no-names at office max or something). And Riteks aren't too bad...not TYs, but they'll do for most things.

And these are actually pretty nice CDs. They seem decently constructed, and the top seems to be well-protected. You can't hold them to the light and easily see right through them like you can with cheapos.

How exactly do you get the additional unadvertised rebate? At the register? Some clarification requested.

my aunt bought these cdrs. an extra rebate form came out. she thought it was a glitch. she called me beacuse she didn't know if they'd honor both. really, i dont know. i dont really go for $2 dollar rebates usually. its not worht the hassle.
