This is a lifetime license for 1 person, although it can be applied to as many systems as you want, as long as you uninstall it from your previous system. See the thread for details.

I run this on my systems. It has yet to fail me, but I also use good surfing habits. Malewarebytes is one of the main names in Anti-Maleware, and has been around for years. I didn't notice any system slowdown with active protection on during gaming and programming.

As for the license, I believe I read this is a single-system license, but it is up to the user to be honorable and follow that. I have not had any trouble using my license on new systems as I retire my old ones.

The real time protection seems to want to block a good share of websites. MSE will warn but allow you to proceed. Malware bytes makes it look like you can't connect. So it has to be turned off to proceed to that website. The actual scanning for malware though is top notch and it has saved me when MSE has failed.

It comes with one lifetime license key useable on one machine. You can release keys if you decide to reformat or switch it to another PC, but you may not have one key for two machines at the same time.

At $10, it's a no brainer. Everyone should have this.

The full version updates itself and its definitions database automatically (or not, as you prefer). I'm not sure if the free version allows scheduled scans, and their are a couple of additional "features" in the paid version. I'm not sure it's worth full price for reasonably careful adult web surfers, but for a one-time $10, I think it's a no-brainer. Probably good for kids and oblivious adults even at full price...

Funny part about that, it would block Bitshare while I was using Firefox, but not if I went there using IE.

I bought 5 copies of this the last time I saw this deal, but recently accidentally installed one of the licenses on 2 computers and it's been working fine. So I'm not sure how strict their 1 license per copy is. I think I'll buy more to be safe.

Not entirely true. When you install the free version, you get 30 days of active monitoring now. After that, you either pay or it goes to scan only.

Free version is a little clunky, no scheduled stuff, but I don't like programs that update and run anytime they please.

I run the free malwarebytes and avast, but nothing will save you from doing something stupid.
