It is the same as normal OT, except that teams get 3 times outs and if there is not a winner at the end of 1 quarter, it goes into "regular football" mode for additional quarters until a winner is crowned.

Yeah, but really both teams should get a chance to score, ala tiebreaks in say tennis. Otherwise it's really a farce IMO

yeah, it's way better than it used to be, where a FG would be an instant win. It's all about the first team possession though.

If first team turnovers or does not score, 2nd team can win on FG or TD.

no idea of how to explain that game. all the deflection INTs against the chickens, then the late TD and amazing onside recovery. then the beyond amazing 2 pointers. slacking a bit on D at the end letting packers get into FG range so easy. Then they come out and just destroy them in a couple of plays to take it in OT.
