He said he probably couldn't have raised his arm, though. I've done PT myself, and for me it's a long recovery for some minor things...but with the regimens these guys go through, I'd be surprised if either Sherman or Thomas was out of the SB.
I think, even if Sherman is hurt bad, he still plays. He can still defend passes with his other arm. The only thing he might be bad at is tackling, but the rest of the team can help with that. I think NE will be foolish to think one arm is going to really stop Sherman from being a great DB. However, it is really going to come down to if they can stop Gronk.
