No. Tiptronic is an automatic slushbox with manual controls.

SMG is a real manual transmission with electronic shift actuation

My Wife knows it's a 996.

Took it on a run in -1C cold last night. It liked the cold air, no doubt.

I hate the TIP, just a posh auto.

Devastatingly electric driving experience. I have driven the 964 and that was nice, but this is just so tight and capable. The way it gathers speed is fantastic.
