At least at my local store, they are sick and tired of online reservations that never get fulfilledm yet hold the parts hostage for up to four days. Going forward, the "in-store" price is designed for "in-store" acquisition only. They want you to walk and peruse the isles as you make your way back to the enthusiast section and buy something else, anything else. They have 'em you just gotta peel off your pajamas, brush your teeth and go outside to get 'em. The horror!

Odds are these are it for the 128/256 830's. They exist nowhere else except at the B&M stores.

The one in CA sells out fast. The 2500k didn't even last the morning when it went up for sale. I'm expecting the same for this drive. Too bad it's an hour drive, one way, for me.

This is not possible with the CA store. Their system gives you the run around and hangs up on you eventually. When I asked at the store they said they're "fixing" the system to be more universal for all stores. Whatever that means, it confirms they know what is going on and they aren't going to do anything, quick, about it

Seems like the CA store has the highest concentration of Nerds....Deals go very quickly it looks like.

Thank you so much for the heads up. Managed to grab one at the Cambridge MA store. I saw so many of these SSD deals lately and have either missed them or passed for some reason, but I can now retire my C300 raid setup.
Can't wait to see what 2 years have brought in SSD improvements.
