yeah, basically that could mean something like:

*a bug in SVC's office hears the following*:

yeah that's what i figured. I sent another e-mail today to see what they'll say. Buy time my a$$, if they do not respond in an orderly business fashion I'm just going to call them tomorrow. If they put my off I'll just have my lawyer call them. He's good at making phone calls...

Love this thread - Had to respond to the various posts that seem to believe that all the "bad press" is because people are expecting too much. I'm sure there is some of that. SVC had been doing reasonably well - check their older reseller ratings - not so well now. In my case, it is clear SVC management is not honoring their contracts - I ordered two items (at a very good price) and they shipped me one, charged for two.

I was able to contact an employee at SVC who said that he would get the product out promptly. He called back a short time later (excellent) to let me know that his boss would not let him ship the second item out even though they had them in stock. It wasn't a high cost item even at the retail places so I wasn't about to start a formal complaint.

However - they took my money, I waited a week for the initial delivery (that was expected), and then the management said that they didn't feel like shipping out what had been contracted. The employee was a little upset and promised to ensure a prompt refund (that also occurred).

Dishonest management will not get my support and I will take the time to repeat it here. There are too many good people trying to make it as a small business to deal with this type of establishment.

wow, fast! i ordered 2 days ago using usps (it was cheapest for me) and the items arrived already...
2 color led fans and 2 cables and 10 thumscrews.

they got the order right and it all looks to be in good condition

I got my SLK-800, some more AS3 and AS Epoxy, a Crystal Orb, and 2 Blue Quad LED's yesterday..ordered on Tuesday. 2 day Service with a smile, but I guess I'm used to that level of service from SVC. I placed an order with Newegg (3ware RAID card) and Xoxide (Rheobus) on Tuesday and they didn't arrive until today....interesting.

haha, I had the same problem, until I found out that they have the site heatsinkstore.com. I've ordered from them 3 times? Everytime has been good, even if I ordered only like 5 bucks of stuff.

i just got my 2 quad led blue fans intoday and i ordered just two blue cc tubes only, but they sent me two full blue cc kits!!! svc has restored my faith in them.

I ordered 2 UV Sensitive 18'' Dual-Device ATA133 cable, SLK-800, blue quad fan, 2 atomic fan grilles on wednesday. I received it today via priority mail and they put 2 uv sentive 18'' SINGLE-DEVICE ATA133 cables. AAAAAHHHHHHHH. Man, i was hoping on finishing my computer today and now i have to wait for them to fix it. Should I call or email? Am I going to have to pay to ship it back to them or what? I know that some of you guys had problems with them and I just wanna know how what you did to solve it. Thanks. I hope SVC doesn't do this again!!!

uh huh, didnt feel like it? lol....ok, unfortunetly, you were not sent what you paid for(i believe that), but at the same time, i dont believe that is the whole story...the manager cannot just not send it b/c he doesnt want to, must of been a mix-up and he didtnt want to deal with it. Anyways no need to tell anymore of the story, sorry you had a bad experience with scv.

Heh, his lack of detail tells me one thing: He was taking advantage of a price mistake. He was probably to lucky to get 1. The word "contract" is a favorite choice of those who try and justify the reasoning companies should honor price mistakes.

Anyways littletemple just e-mail them. Explain you got the wrong cables and ask them to ship you the correct ones WITH a pre-paid shipping label back to them. Then just put the old ones in the box the new ones come in and you're set

No, they didn't send me 1 cable last time, but they mailed it out that day.

I'm just saying to do that b/c it makes the most sense and would be the most convenient method for all parties involved. Rather than wait until you shipped back to them (and paid out of pocket for shipping), and then send you the cables and reimburse you shipping, this would essentially kill 2 birds with one stone. Cut and paste this into your e-mail if you like, it just makes good business sense.

SVC is the best! They made mistakes sometimes, but their attitude of fixing them are great.

Just wait to see what they say at this point, they'll probably just tell you to keep the cables, as shipping back to them would almost cost as much as the cables themselves

Here USPS rocks.. UPS is good too

FEDEX sucks.. always losing my packages.. leaving them at my front door where my neighbors can steals it.. damaging packages.. bleh
