Same here, $1.50. I could understand back when new VHS movies cost like $100+ on the day they came out, their prices were justified. Now a new DVD is only $15 and widely available. It's your prices, stupid.
Exactly and that's why it pays to just buy the movie at what Blockbuster wants to charge for a rental. I would renting again if I could find a place that rents for $2. Even those days when VHS tapes were $100 rentals were around $2 for a day.
In searching, I found a link to cleanfilms.com. Now that is really different. They edit all offensive material out of the dvds; language, sex, violence. You could probably watch an 'R' rated movie in less than 30 minutes! Or maybe they edit all of the audio in the films like some of the cable networks. Bulletproof with Adam Sandler is really funny when it has been edited on cable. They edit entire phrases of dialogue, rather than a couple words and its probably even funnier than the original!
Well, Wisconsin rates are $2.99 for a game or new release and $1.00/day there after. Obviously, this is the meaning of extended viewing fees - the longer that you extend the viewing time, the more you pay.
