Question Upgrade from 7700k

Hello everybody.

I thought to keep my 7700k for at least 4 years when I bought it (Jan 2k17) But now it's not enough, especially as I have 144hz monitor.

On top of that I stream while gaming (as a hobby) so it also push my cpu to the limits.

My current setup is

7700k(delided)@4.8Ghz MSI Z270 Tomahawk, 16GB Ram G.Skill Ripjaws V 3200 CL16

Not sure how much I can get for it, maybe around 300GBP or more (cpu,mobo no warranty, ram not sure, don't have boxes etc)

As a cooler I use NH-D15

PC is used mainly for gaming, and now streaming as well (I use my RTX2080Ti for it, not cpu)

Thought about 3900x but price is insane now so not really an option.

For AMD option, I thought about picking 3700x which is slower in gaming expecially for 144+fps (1080p) than 9900k but maybe next cpu Zen 3 will be better and than just swap 3700x with 4xxx?

Ram, 16gb for sure, speeds, picked 4000mhz but maybe something a bit slower/faster for a good price? to get most of the cpu in gaming.

what looks very promising for ryzen and something i would like to achive in terms of fps.

What I play? Mostly shooters, BF V, CoD MW (soon) PUBG, F1 2k19, Forza 4, Diablo 3, WoW, maybe something else will see.

I care more about having stable 144++ fps than nice looking graphics, that's why when I play any multiplayer games i set most of the stuff to low/off also to give a headroom for my gpu while streaming, so CPU have to handle it well and keep this fps.

Price? Around 700-900 GBP? but it will cost less as I want to sell my current setup first and than buy new one.

Sounds like for you the faster Intel chip is the way to go.
