Okay, so the ATI HD4670 has done a great job for the past year in my Dell Vostro 220.
System specs:
Core 2 Duo E7300 2.66 Ghz
3 gb DDR2 800
WD 500 gb HD
DVD-RW
Coolermaster 460W PSU coming on Monday to replace factory 300W Dell
20" Dell digital monitor
Play some CODMW2, FAr Cry 2, LFD, LFD2, Crysis (just got, part of the reason for the upgrade), Bioshock.
Would like to stay around $100 to $130 cost. Keeping in mind that the Vostro 220 is a mini case and may not accomodate large cards, I think I have narrowed it down to:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102859 HD 5750 $130 shipped
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102824 HD4850 $100 shipped
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150369 HD4770 $117 shipped
And maybe on the cheap side:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121352 9800GT $92 AR shipped, or the other possible Nvidia option,
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814141097 GTS250 $117 shipped
Any opinions? I have historically been an Nvidia guy, but have been pretty impressed with the performance of my MSI HD4670 for like $65 AR, so am looking for the best bang for the buck that will fit in my case and run on my PSU. The new one is supposed to have 18a on each of the 2 12v rails. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817171046
Thanks in advance for any replies.
