Upgrade time

I am planning to upgrade my Athlon system and looking for new mobos. I am eyeing on Iwill XP333-R or Asus A7V333-R (I need Raid but not USB 2.0 or firewire). Anyone has a suggesstion on some other boards Like from MSI or Gigabyte. I don't particularly like Abits.

Asus all the way baby.

The Epox board is a good alternative too. Not too sure what model it is.

Yep, I would go with the Asus mobo if you don't want Abit and have to have raid.
That or maybe go with an Epox board. I've been meaning to check out one of their new boards.

Epox 8K5A series is pretty much much the fastest at the moment. I would take one over an Asus any day...

I bought I will before, KK 266 plus -R. Extremely satisfied with it. The most stable system i have seen. what do you guys think about Iwill?

go with asus or gigabyte's kt333 boards w/ raid

I would go nforce 415/ nforce 2 but thats just me. I just got an Abit NV7133R and I am amased at this things stability. Anyone who says AMD systems are unstable have not tried nforce.

If you have to have a board w/ onboard raid then I'd also rec. the Epox board w/ HPT372, IMO Asus board are waaaaay overpriced for what you are getting also FYI the Epox board has better OCing features lol, I'd also rec. an Nforce or if you can wait an Nforce2 board over a Via board anyday not sure if any have onboard raid though Hope this helps...
