Upgrade to Windows ME?

I'm currently running windows 98se with my tbird 900mhz rig. I primarily use it for gaming and the web. Should I upgrade to ME? Will I have problems with my games?

It would be a waste of money to upgrade. I upgraded form 98se to me and I had to find a hack to put back in the functionality which was removed from 98se. i.e. DOS window, getting rid of media player 7.0 etc... and there does not seem to be any added capablilty.

Stick with 98SE. ME is bloated and has a lot of unneccessary and useless stuff added in.

In my opinion they have taken 98 and made it WORSE.

Just look at the amount of people who have tried it and then gone back to 98

it looks to me that the number of those who speak favourably on ME is growing all the time. I had it. the reason I use windows 2k instead is that someone lent me their disc from it when my hardware was having compatibility problems with ME. i thought ME was cool though.

Don't bother it's a waste of hard earned coin, and I use winME myself, though i didn't pay for it.. the only reason i continue to use it is due to the fact i'm to lazy to format and put win98 back on

There is no DOS/Command prompt anymore?? So if you want to modify autoexec or config.sys, you can't just go to dos and do it directly??
