Arghh!
First:
Win2k SP2/ATI DVD player/Radeon LE (3276's)/ Turtle Beach SC(4112's)
Had directX 8.0a with Video Capture update. DVD worked.
Installed DX 8.1.
Uninstalled 3276 replaced with 6014's
ran Windows Update. they had an update listed for Radeon.. installed it. Found out it was older than 6014 & unistalled & reinstalled 6014's.
Uninstalled TB Santa Cruz 4112's & installed 4142's
DVD no worky.
Gives me "Playback has failed due to the one of the following:"

Tried ATI's sug's on that page to no avail. HELP!! Please what should I do? I've tried uninstall & reinstall of 3276's.. I can't uninstall DX 8.1 to go back to 8.0!! Someone please tell me there is a solution to this!!
Well, for whatever reason, after uninstalling the 6014's and reverting back to the 3276's it did not work. I did try reinstalling (actually selecting "REPAIR" option) ATI DVD 4.1. It still didn't work.. I then installed the Video Capture Update from 8.0 ontop of 8.1 (didn't ever say if it was included in 8.1 or not -- it installed correctly so perhaps it was). The DVD still didn't work.. I rebooted. Still didn't work.
THEN, I went to the web & installed a trial ver. of winDVD 3 (works for only 5 min). WinDVD worked fine (for 5 min). I don't know why but I tried ATI's DVD again & IT WORKED -- BUT ONLY FOR FIVE MINUTES ALSO! I have since then uninstalled the WinDVD trial software & tested ATI's again.. and it still worked.. but still only lasts 5 minutes of video play. I have tried contacting InterVideo tech support but it has been days now.. I don't know what the $%#$! happened here.. It's crazy man, crazy!
Anyone have any advice?
