Several years ago, I bought a 28 inch display at microcenter. It does 1920x1200, and to me looks fine, but with the r9 390 card I have, I'm wanting to push more pixels and get a higher resolution.
For me, larger is better. I don't mind pwm, some backlight bleed, or whatever. Size and resolution are king for me.
I've found a couple different offerings on ebay, one has been briefly talked about on here from what I read, but wanted opinions..
New CROSSOVER 404K UHD HDMI2.0 40" LED 3840x2160 4K VA Monitor NEW 44K + Remote for $518
or
AMH A399U UHD 39.5" 3840X2160 16:9 4K LED Monitor 60Hz DP1.2 HDMI2.0 Non-Glass for $489
Are they basically the same thing? Does one have an advantage over the other? I ask because I've not kept up with display tech and now find out you can flash firmware on displays, overclock, etc, all things foreign to me on a monitor, but am willing to learn.
