I have 2 dogs and from personal experience, the only time they managed to do considerable damage to the lawn was during the period right after winter and before spring really kicked in. They burned a few patches into the lawn, but once spring kicked into full effect those brown patches greened right up with the rest of the lawn and it's been that way ever since regardless of where they pee.

Hi all,
Today I had a package delivered by the UPS driver and, since I have the day off, I was at home to accept the package when he arrived. After he gave me the delivery, I went to the window to watch him leave. Well, to my surprise, instead of walking directly back to his truck, the driver walked over to a tree in my side yard. He then proceeded to stand behind the tree (for cover) and peed directly in my yard. He was only about 12 feet from the house when he did it and this completely pisses me off. I realize I should have said something then but was so shocked that I really didn't know how to react. Does anyone know what I shoud/can do?

Yeah, yeah. You were so pissed and so shocked that you just stood there inside the protection of your house and did nothing. Way to go.

Male or female? Females are really the culprits since they squat to pee and more than likely will go back to the same spot.
If I don't want yellow dead spots, I have to douse the area where my dogs pee wit water to dilute it.

What would you have told him if he asked to use your restroom?
If when giving me my package, he had asked to use the restroom because he had to go really bad, I would have let him. I don't mind when people use my toilets. I do mind, though, when people act like some untrained animal and treat my yard as some big diaper. There are woods about 20 feet away from where he peed. If he had walked those 20 feet into the woods and peed, I would not have a problem. But its the fact that he peed in the yard on my expensive sod where me and my dogs walk. There is no excuse for that sort of behavior.
It's just pee, man. Calm down.Originally posted by: Capt Caveman

If you didn't live in your mom's basement and was an actual home owner, you be offended by someone peeing on your lawn. Obviously, you don't respect other people's personal property.
UPS man peed in my yard...
What should I do?

3. If he did it today, there is no telling how many times he has done it when I am not at home.

Don't worry about it. Nothing you can do now. If it were me I'd run over there and pee on that spot. This is MY house.

Wait, what? You don't make sense.
I don't think I'd do what the UPS man did, but if a UPS man came and did that in my yard, I'd laugh. Does that mean I don't respect other people's property? It just means I don't care so much about my own.
