Well HP sent me the post paid box,sent it 2 day air from mn to tx on july 3rd....finally called HP today and get the we don't have it excuse....great so checked ups site and sure as shit in a outhouse it has been in tx since the 6th,on the truck for delivery....

I am really kicking myself now,the damn thing worked perfect....fuck.

If the last known step was "out for delivery" wouldn't that mean fault should be squarely on the driver? It was either stolen off the truck, or they... threw it away, or something? I don't even know how a package can go missing at that point.

Fedex is probably gonna lose the package I was supposed to get today. Last status update "in transit", 9:03 AM today at my local center. But the estimated delivery isn't until Wednesday. /rage

although...1 day i had a delivery and it wasn't her. the the substitute ups guy ding-dong-ditched me and everyone else with a note saying there was no answer at the door. the customer service lady on the phone could/would not send another truck with my stuff that day, and i still got to pay full price. :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown:

If it's supposed to be there on Wednesday, what made you think it was supposed to be delivered today?

The "estimate" didn't even show up until this afternoon. And it's sitting in a building 15 minutes from my house.

Fedex sucks like that. Several times before I've had a package get to the local center 2-3 days before the estimated delivery date, and they've let it sit there til the estimated date.

I once had a harmony remote I sold to someone on FS/T here that UPS kept shipping back and forth between Chicago and CA for a freaking month. Every 4-5 days you'd see a new scan at one facility, then back to the one it just came from. I can't remember if they eventually lost it or if it finally arrived (I think it did). Talked to them several times on the phone and asked them if someone is scanning it, why can't they put a flag in the system that pops up and says "HOLD THIS PACKAGE", but apparently that's too logical.

Luckily the buyer was pretty understanding since the tracking info was available to both of us.
