I am thinking about investing in a UPS to replace my surge protector I've come to know and love. It needs to run a high-power desktop and it's CRT for about 20 min to give me plenty of time to save my work. I would like it to have the RJ-11, RJ-45, Cable TV protection so I can help my telephone and router out. Pricerang is anywhere under $150-$175 Dollars. Preferably with all of the oulates on the back to keep my desk neater.

You need to start by using UPS manufacturer's configurators to get an idea of VA size and wattage:

Also try APC (I don't have the exact url, but it is probably www.apc.com)

You are probably looking at 1000 VA and 600 watts, perhaps 800 to get 20 minutes run time. You will have to carefully look at the features of qualifying UPS's to get the connector protection you want.

I got a Cyberpower 1250W AVR and its been very reliable through the brownouts and power outages we have occasionally here on Maui. Costco had a deal of $99 a while back and sold out in 2 days. Maybe people are just getting smarter. I haven't had to replace my batteries as of yet after quite a few years of excellent backup.
I think when Costco has one of those $99 specials, I better get one.
