Urban exploring - New York

This is an old video, but not one I have seen here. Anyway, I put this on the same level as those kids who would climb huge towers in Russia a number of years ago without any safety equipment. Only in this case the guy is exploring the subway tunnels and infrastructure of NYC. Pretty interesting video.

That was pretty cool. Crazy brave to do that stuff. Not so much the safety aspect but the law aspect.

When I was a kid me and a friend decided to go in some storm sewers but never went very far. We were too chicken that we'd get in trouble lol. I just recall seeing a big grid at the very far end after a turn off. We probably would not have been able to go past that grid anyway but never really went close enough.

Pretty cool. There is a lot of exploring to do in NY. When I was young I explored a lot of stuff as well as going down into sewers.

I did a job for a guy. His job was to drill holes and set off dynamite to blast tunnels for the NY subway.

He was from Poughkeepsie.

i have no problem with these people doing it but man, in a city like new york where they're hyper sensitive about terrorism, and with cameras everywhere, if the cops see you going up on bridges and into tunnels they're going to interrogate the shit out of you.

plus i would never go into those waterways without some MOPP4 level biohazard protection suits!
