Looking at the pictures, the urinal is not the worst part of that house.

It is FUGLY!

I was expecting to comment on atot elitists rejecting the house due to it residing outside a narrow band of decor, but it sure is ugly, and the bathroom sure does look like a truck stop :^D

that is rather odd having a urinal right beside a toilet in the bathroom of a private home

Seems convenient, though. No splashing. Is the toilet seat stained yellow or is the coating just worn off?

The person who lives one street over goes all out for Christmas:

Lol and the price of that house. lmao. Wow. Though it would have lot of potential if it was like 100k or so, but at that price, yeah one could do way better with that kind of money somewhere else.

The house has great potential IMO. The fact you can fit a 6 burner stove in the kitchen speaks to its size. You can fit a toilet and urinal side by side in one bathroom also would allow for a great renovation. Exposed beams in the living room. Someone with enough budget could renovate that home into something spectacular.

As far as the urinal, I would put one in my house in a heartbeat. But I like the full height urinals aka floor to chest height. But not in a main bathroom. If I had a man cave it would get a urinal for sure. The urinal in that house is ugly.

I would rip it out and install a bidet.

A wealthy relative of mine had a urinal in her home, I always thought it was rather strange but hey, people do strange shit.

That house is a catastrophe though, I wouldn't even want to consider the time involved with renovating it,

California. Here in MI you wouldn't pay that kinda money for that house. I'm certainly no expert but I bet that's worth less than $100k where I grew up.

A guy I worked with years ago scored a used one off a job. He put it on a random wall in his basement with no sink nearby. He was in a band so they could play down in his basement and drink beer all night without having to go all the way up stairs. Beat digging under the slab for a toilet, he was missing the flush valve so he just ran a regular ball valve to so you just flipped it for a second to flush.

I've always wanted a urinal, it'd be perfect for a middle of the night piss with out turning the lights on, not as much splash and harder to miss.

That kitchen is funky. It actually looks relatively recent compared to everything else in the home.

That urinal is pretty ugly, but it saves water. Good for socal.

Actually do they have water meters there? I could see an urinal being attractive in that case. It's like replacing an incandescent light with a LED.

I have a $8 motion detecting soft glow light in my bathroom, and before that, I would just sit down! Just sayin

I tend to wake up with morning wood makes it difficult either way. I think I could force it down enough and angle it right with a urinal.
