Couple thoughts:

A) After Waco and Ruby Ridge the Federal Government really backed off of the strong arm policing of Sovereign State groups and we saw a sort of pussy-footing around these types for decades, culminating in the Bundy Clan incidents. I wonder if we're going to see the pendulum swing hard in the opposite direction with a strong crackdown on these groups to send a message after an incident like this.

B) I know the answer round these parts is going to be "because they're white" but I'll ask anyway: Where the hell is the sense of urgency in arresting these terrorists? Sounds like a couple handfuls of folks are going to be charged, maybe the Feds can take it easy on this one since these assholes are posting incriminating selfies of themselves on social media, they're not at risk of disappearing into the night.

C) Trump. Mitt Romney is literally saying that this was an act of insurrection incited by the President of the United States. Are we truly so fucked that even after this the President remains bullet proof because he used shitty D movie mob tactics "I only told them to resolve my problem, I didn't actually tell them to do what they did" bullshit.
