I'm not asking anyone to reason with QAnon and Proud Boys. I'm asking, if people previously supported Trump and these groups, and are now coming to realize that he might actually be a bad President, don't tell these people to fuck off because they changed their mind. Tell them to fuck of if they espouse support for these groups. I want to try to diminish support for these insane groups. Not to try to reason with these groups themselves, not to try to find common ground, but if individuals are turning away from these people that are weakening America, we should encourage them.

Your mistake is in thinking their contrition is genuine. Republicans lost control of the Presidency and Senate. And now they are putting distance between themselves and Trump, not because they disapprove of his methods, but because his methods didn't work. A-holes like Graham went along for 2 months (4 year's really) of Trump's misinformation about the election, the lawsuits, the governor and SOS strong-arming. None of it worked and they see the end. None of that deserves pat on the back.

Don't forget the true culprits behind this mayhem, the Republican SCOTUS majority that's pushing their cooky legal theory that state legislatures are not subject to their own state Constitutions and state courts when deciding federal election rules. Because they claim that state courts have no say on things that Constitution reserves for state "Legislatures", while at the same time claiming that they have a say on things the Constitution reserves for "Congress."

It would have passed with enough votes to make it an ammendment, and illegalize prostitution. The only state in the U.S. that has prostitution legal is Nevada, no joke.
