Wow. That is a big deal. So unlike Nascar, the Grand Prix is more of an endurance race eh? I don't watch much racing, but I love Le Mans.

There are six cars racing right now.
Which means it won't count.
Has anyone got a link to confirm that?
EDIT: UK Commentary has just said it will count towards the standings as long as the race goes over 75% distance

The rule is that as long as 2 (TWO) laps are complete, the race goes in the books. Looks like a privateer team is going to put a man on the podium...

I think FIA did the right thing. It's not their job to play favors. I think the Michelin teams should have run, just at a reduced speed through the turn. They could still easily beat up on the junky Minardi's

WTF is going on? Michelin tires might not be able to take a full race distance on this track due to the banking in turn 13. Yikes!

Wow...now I don't feel so bad for giving up my ticket!
But I feel sorry for my friend--she is a HUGE Ralph Schumacher fan and she pretty much bought tickets just to see him race here. I TOLD everyone Montreal would be a better race to go to but it was too close to exams and people starting internships.

Ralf Schumacher wasn't going to race here anyways, he crashed in practice in is sitting this one out... ironically due to the Michelins.

I bet the crowd is thinking how much F1 cars suck compared to IRL cars since the indycars can cope with 4 of those banked turns with no problems... hahahahahaha...
