Let's not forget what/who got us into those wars, m'kay?

Obama is far from squeaky clean, but he inherited a clusterfuck from GW and crew.

So it's Bush's fault Obama expanded the interventions into 6 additional countries? I thought Obama ran as the anti-war candidate?

Airframes have a service life.
Military maintenance schedules are serious business.

When Hornets\super Hornets and Growlers\Ospreys\Rotary\ etc etc were purchased, no one planned for us to be invoved in a decades long coin operation against a bunch of angry civilians\militants.
Everyone and their mother (Air Froce\Army\Marines) have been asking the Navy for growler\support ops and Naval aviation is in the position where they are accumulating WAY more flight hours than planned and budgeted for year after year.
Ops in Iraq\Afghanistan\Syria + others without "end game planning" is expensive business.

In simple terms,
You buy a car and plan to drive it for 10 years and then replace it to use as a commuter from your home to work.
You have a set budget where you set aside X amount dollars for gas and maintenance items. You are in the military so included in your budget is a complete tear down of the car for inspection at regular intervals.
During that time, your parents get divorced because they are angry and now you have to drive to both houses during holidays as well. One of them moves to the next state over thats a 8 hour drive,
3 of your friends move and ask for your help. they moved 5 hours away.
You got a new job that requires you travel to neighboring state.
Your office relocated an additional 45 minute away.
You are now putting a ton of miles and wear and tear on your car where you really need to replace it 6 years in to ownership but you don't have the money to buy a new car, so now you have to spend a lot of money on keeping your car on the road and its constantly in the shop.

The blame for all this rest squarely on the United States skipping leg day and skipping all those world history and foreign affairs classes for the past century.
Why are we in the position where we spending billions of dollars blowing up civilians\insurgents\unsatisifed customers in other countries.
Call congress, the senate and the White House. They will begin the finger pointing.
This isn't a partisan thing.
Every president has had a piece of the responsibility pie.
We have had continuous combat operations (AKA "WAR" stuff) in the middle east for decades.
I was in High School when our current cluster fuck began (1980's)

Root cause is the American voter.

Syria
Remember reading the news back in back in 2012?
Many foreign policy analysts agree that the Obama administration has done little either to effectively plan for or to prevent the violent sectarian bloodbath likely to follow if, as they predict, the power base around Syrian President Bashar Assad begins to crumble.

The administration’s posture has been one of nonconfrontation, feeding criticism among conservatives who argue that Mr. Obama is leading from behind in Syria. They said he yearns too eagerly to be a “team player,” relying on the United Nations for consensus building and trying to avoid a much wider military confrontation that could involve Russia, Iran, Turkey and Israel.

Syria fall into madness can be traced to all of John Bolton's and Israel's shitty influence post 2000.
They had an opportunity when Assad took power in 06/2000 and they blew it big time. After Sharon and Bolton\Bush Jr went hard core mode they did nothing but try and make shit worse,
