Can't believe I watched it, but I'm not convinced it's a real puppy, either. I've held probably a hundred puppies by the scruff of their necks (we raised bird dogs when I was a kid), and I've never seen one that was totally motionless like that. They're fairly still most of the time, but if you swung them around, like when he went to throw it, at least their legs should drop down.

And the yelping could have been added in later.

Anyway, I hope it wasn't a real puppy. If so, the soldier needs to be brought up on some charges.

Not necessarily. The torture and killing of animals has long been noted as one of the warning signs of possibly psychopathy and is an early warning sign psychiatrists would take very very seriously as a possible first step to true psychopathy and the killing of innocent people.

Where's the original thread? Also, isn't there a private company or organization that goes over there to help the military? I seem to remember news stories about this company (I think the company is called Blackwater?). Their employees dress in uniforms similar to the military's right?

That's fucked up. IF it's real, and I can't see anything that says it's NOT real, then the guy needs to be brought up on charges and court martialed.

However, even though it does look like a real puppy to me, I can't tell if he's a real soldier of if that part is faked.

There are lots of deserty areas that look like that...no distinguishing landmarks to say where it took place.

That looks all too real to me. The pup not moving is the same I've seen with pups and kittens I've picked up that way (much to the horror of my friends who claim to love animals, but don't know shit about them) It's not a doll, and it's not already dead or it would either have the legs hanging limp or be completely stiff, neither being the case.

It randomly shows up on a dutch site? The guys have no distinct uniform or markings. The voices don't really match up with the mouth.
What gives a US soldier the idea it's smart to upload a video of themselves killing an animal on film to a dutch media site?

The video is grainy so it's hard to see much detail. I'm not sure how anyone could actually determine if the dog is real/fake alive/dead.
