The part that does look a bit fake was when they tossed it, although my only experience in watching dogs being thrown was from Raul's Wild Kingdom skit on the Wierd Al Yankovic movie UHF.

It's a natural reflex for puppies to hang still when held by the scruff of the neck. That's how mother dogs move their puppies (or did) in the wild, before domestication. It's instinct.

Been seeing this everywhere, haven't been able to watch it. Too much of a soft spot for dogs.

fact is many cases of soldiers adopting dogs in wars, its hard to get them shipped back to the states because of regulations. even in this war. course those stories get buried fast and forgotten.

This is nothing compared to atrocities done in other wars. Even in Somali, we went in and started killed hundreds if not thousands of civilians to accomplish our objectives.

This is war (actually I like to call it a conflict). Soldiers do dumb shit all in the name of getting rid of stress, and fooling around. They stay there every single day in a battlefield. Every time they get into a car, they might see a RPG rocketing toward them. They might be laughing one second, and the next second get slaughtered by a IED. A sniper might pop one of them at any given time.

We need to keep those fucking troops there because as of now, there is a weak governement in Iraq. We went in a messed shit up, we have to fix it. Its not going to fix it all by itself.

Then we need to GTFO as soon as an effective government is made.

That being said, I still think its fake.
