You need to structure your arguments differently. Your comments have made you appear that you are saying that Indians are inherently superior to Pakistanis.

You seem to have a hard time differentiating India and Indians and Pakistan and Pakistanis.

When you say that India is superior to Pakistan, nobody is going to disagree. Pakistan is a shthole and very backwards and India is a good and advancing country. However, if you are going to say that Indians are better than Pakistanis and that it is even so in the US, then you have crossed the line.

Seems heart-warming to say that, doesn't it? Pakistan, the country, is not some mysterious entity that just appeared all of a sudden imposing dictatorship on its people. Muslim Fundamentalistic Pakistan is what it's great denizens have been able to come up with after 50+ years of trying (or not trying, if you please). Indians have made India a superior country to Pakistan. Indians are superior at building a nation. There are many underlying factors, but as an Indian I hold Pakistan and Pakistanis in deep contempt for their inability to progress their lot. Pakistan cannot magically become a shithole without Pakistanis themselves having something to do with it. Pakistan is a failed state and in its failure lies the failure and inferiority of the Pakistani people. It doesn't sound all that pc, I know. But that's the way I see it. I'll wait to point out the hypocrisy when Americans start ballyhooing about how great a nation and people they are :roll:

You should have left your prejudices and bigotry behind in India. There are lots of good Pakistanis or of Pakistani descent in the US and you are not superior to them.

We don't need or want your hatred in the United States.

If you're trying to say that people in India are in general better than people in Pakistan (but not genetically) due to culture or religion or whatever then that may be fine. I mean the cases of Sultan and Hatim outweighs anything else in the world.

Athithi, patriotism is one thing and hatred is another. Your prejudice towards any other country, Pakistan or the US, is making your virtues no better than the ones you're condemning. Blaming 'all' the people for the actions of their country is absurd. I'm believe there are good people in every country, India, Pakistan and the US, but they are neither the majority nor very different percentages of the total population in these countries. Thanks for defining hatred as 'unpopular opinion'. I am sure there are tons of good human beings in Pakistan. As a general populace, though, they bear the cross of the failure of their nation. It is impractical to pick and spell each individual that caused their nation to fail. The whole argument started because of this quote from xyyz:

You people seem to want to believe that Indians and Pakistanis are similar. They are not. It has nothing to do with race - it might have a little to do with culture. But it has mostly to do with what people wanted from their nation and for their future. Pakistanis wanted an Islamic fundamentalist state and for that I hold them in contempt. It is not a racial contempt. It is the contempt you would hold for someone that had a choice and choose out of hatred and exclusion. They reap not more than they have sown.

RabidMongoose, if you keep thinking that it is hatred I am spouting towards Pakistan, you need to lookup a certain word called 'contempt' in the dictionary. I understand you want to be better and hate-free. But you won't find it in incorrectly judging others. Another choice that has been made by Pakistan is that they have smartly realized their weakness and decided to wage an insurgent war against India.l

They can't compete militarily or economically, so Pakistan funds terrorism.

The sad thing is: it took 12 years for the average American to realize what Pakistan really is about: Islamic fundamentalism.

I am also a bigot for thinking that American Founding Fathers were far superior to the people that founded India. Mahatma Gandhi was a bit of an exception for leading by non-violence. But apart from that, I wish we had been fortunate enough to have someone like George Washington or Thomas Jefferson. What a bigot I am

Oh, I can sit here and tell you exactly what I please. If possible, try to prove me wrong - with a country like Pakistan, that's going to be 'Mission Impossible'. To think that all humans are created equal is just as emotional and arbitrary as to think that some humans were created to rule over others.
