So i got a 32gb usb drive that has the male end bent, so the 4 pin usb is broken off the circuit board. Should I just hot glue the stuff so it doesn't move or find someone to solder the 4 pins back ?

You could. But since you, of course, have backups of everything on the drive, throwing it out and getting a new one is probably your easiest option.

(In fairness, 32GB drives aren't quite as disposable as the 4-8GB drives I have coming out of my ears...)

Soldering the four pins back is probably the best option, but if it'll work for a little while with the hot glue, that'll be easier to DIY and you can get your data off of it before you throw it out.

Its a usb chip reader, ie if ur have a broken flash drive, you pull the chip out and insert it in that usb reader

Really? Oh wow! I never new something like that existed. What's the proper name for it? Can I buy one on Ebay?

Edit- Just looked on Ebay for USB chip reader and didn't find anything.

Hot glue will be of no help at all. There is no substitute for soldering. Any electronics repair technician, such as one who repairs TVs or audio equipment, can do the job.

I had a naked thumbdrive a while back which had this issue of the pins detaching. It even lifted the PCB traces and created a small gap which luckily tore before it did some real damage. Used a soldering iron and bridged the traces and some of the pins with solder and it worked.
