USB TV Tuner Reccomendations

I need reccomendations for a usb tv tuner. ATI, Hauppage, etc., if you like it, let me know about it.

Just wondering, why USB? The quality will probably be considerably lower and you'll be missing out on features in the PCI cards.

None of them are any good as they all use the old slow usb1 standard. There's insufficient bandwidth to get a decent picture; you end up with a lot of pixelated crap.

They suck? That's a shame...a friend of mine who only has a laptop wants a tv tuner. I told him they aren't the best since they aren't usb 2.0, but I think that went in one ear and out the other. Well, if there are any you reccomends, let me know...he's pretty set on getting a tv tuner. And no, upgrading to a desktop is not an option.

Just bumping this up because I too am looking for a USB 2.0 Tv Tuner. I recently switched over to a laptop and need something with good picture quality.
