Because it is USB 1.1, which is only going at 12MBps, you are not going to get 100Mbps out of it.

Unless I'm missing something it's a wireless B adapter, so it maxes at 11 megs/sec anyway.

Not to crap; but you might have better luck from PC Club. I love the 4 I have. It's $5 + tax (+ shipping if you don't have B&M nearby). Nice 11b product, though.
