Grew up in LA on USC football. I've said this since day one and posted this on here, USC goes undefeated and kicks the sense out of OU in the Orange Bowl.

This game makes Jason White 1-3 in games in the last two years with the words "championship" in the title. And lets face it, beating the Big 12 North's contribution (colorado) to the Big 12 conference championship wasnt exactly difficult this year. A guy who cannot win the big game doesnt deserve a Heisman, IMO.

USC put the pwn down. Hell, Mike Stoops (Head coach of Arizona - Bob's brother) did better against USC, at least we were still in the game at half time. USC eventually put the pwn down on us (AZ) too though - They are truly one of the best, they look like they could beat 70% of the NFL teams.

Let me put it this way: if you took the top draft choices at each position in the next two years, and magically put them all on the same team, any NFL team would stomp them with the exception of the 49ers, who would still win, but it'd be close NFL teams have more experience, power, and speed than you will see any college team have. College teams occasionally manage to look like they are playing on the pro level, but the key word there is "look".

USC definitely deserves to be #1. Auburn and Utah will have to be happy with what they get. There is a reason why the NCAA does not list a Division I football champion on their website. Even with the BCS, its still a MNC (mythical national championship).

If you are speaking of the conference as a whole, the pac-10 still sucks. Sorry I've never been too sold on the Big 12 being all that hard, though.

You were singing a different tune last year. The two teams have not met, so there is no way to say one is better than the other. Their one common opponent was VT, and USC's victory over them was pretty close as well, and they just happened to add some style points at the end.

USC deserves to be National Champion, but Auburn shouldn't just be left out. Congrats to the Trojans on an awesome game, and having one of the best teams in recent past. Again, congrats!

Jason White cannot perform in the face of a pass rush...that has a been known and shown to be true since the Big 12 championship last year.

He is not going to go in first 2 rounds IMO.

no college team could beat a pro team, think about it, it is very simple. EVERY PLAYER ON AN NFL TEAM MADE IT TO THE NFL. that is all you need to know, most of the players on USC will never be involved in one play in the NFL. I would give 10 to 1 odds that even san fran would absolutely destroy USC.

Any NFL team would be any NCAA team, period...end of that discussion.

Big 12 is just terrible. Texas has better talent than OU but they can't beat them for some reason...other than that, the conference stinks.....but then again, the PAC 10 stinks too.

White never was an NFL prospect - his body is a mess - he's had 2 knee reconstructions, and his arm strength is average at best...OU can't pass block against Baylor, not sure how anyone thought they would against USC.

Auburn does get screwed, they should get a crack at USC now - think how much money the NCAA could make by having one more game next week?!
