Got some the other night and sous vide them. Actually didn't end up finishing it all so I refrigerated one and used the sous vide method to reheat it again the next day and it was perfect!usda prime ribeye on sale at Costco now!

will try poor man's sous vide.. aka plastic ziplock bag and boiling water.
then turn off heat.
leave in pot for 1hr.
hm.. let me try another way.
how can I get it to turn out medium using ziplock bag and plain 1 quart pot?
Costco recently started selling this premium cut of steak. I try to buy it whenever I see it. Today it was $16.99/ lb which is a bargain. It has the butter rich beef flavor of the ribeye and the tender texture of a tenderloin. So best of both. If you haven't tried it, just buy it. You will not find better steak.
meh. still rare. How did it turn out? I've never done it that way.
I know it's hard to believe but you can get tired of eating nice cut of beef the same way with the same spices. Sometimes, I use Dale's Steak Seasoning as marinade. I also use other marinades as well like using Italian dressings to marinate flank and skirt steaks. I also cook steaks plain with freshly ground pepper and sea salt and then eat it with wasabi or chimichurri sauce. As they say, variety is the spice of life.
bulgogi is marinated meat. Galbi can be non-marinated or marinated.

I love Bulgogi! This weekend Costco near me was selling Bulgogi. I bought a thing of it when I got ribeye caps. I personally thought the Bulgogi was too sweet but the womenfolk liked it.
melted the bag.Make sure you have a thermometer and keep the water at 135 or so if you're going to do that (don't melt the bag either ).
melted the bag.
I clipped the edge to the pot, as per sous vid articles.
guess the articles assumed water temp = ~140 degrees and not boiling
I love Bulgogi!
where in Costco did you find it?

no Bulgogi at my local Costco (northern va).In the Costco I go to, it was right next to the meat. They were in tin bottoms with a clear plastic lid on it.
I assume you keep it wrapped while grilling and just cook like a normal steak?
I unroll it and cook it similar to how I cook flank steak. Because this cut is so tender and fatty, I like to cook it more to medium.so... joined Costco today on a Groupon deal a d picked up a pack of ribeye cap.
Foe those red-blooded Americans grilling this stuff (not you Commie hipsters who boil meat), I assume you keep it wrapped while grilling and just cook like a normal steak?
