Using email as evidence in court?

I'm going by what my professor told us in our network security class. Yes, it counts as a legal document.

To the ATOT lawyers, ANYTHING can be faked. I'm sure if the e-mail seems legit then it should help you guys in your case. Doesn't matter if someone could POSSIBLY fake it. Just work with your real lawyer to build up your case for you. Done.

There was an episode of "Judge Judy" where the plaintiff used print-outs of the defendants emails he (presumably) sent from hotmail.

The defendant denied they were his, but judge judy believed the plaintiff

So, create some hotmail accounts with the names of your enemies and make up anything you want!
