Nothing wrong, although you will want to sit a few feet away.

1366 x 768 Pixel Resolution

That resolution will be decent for video, but that's pretty low to use for text and everyday internet stuff.

The 24" Dell 2407 has had quite a few deals lately. It has some inputs in addition to the standard computer ones, so it too could be used as a TV is you had a cable box or tuner.

If your main purpose is as a computer monitor, maybe that would be a better way to go while if TV was your main purpose for this display, then I guess an LCD TV of some kind.

I'm using a 37" LCD TV as a monitor with the same resolution as mentioned, I find the text perfectly acceptable to read (I came from Dell 2005fpw). I find it very crisp and sharp. I sit 4 feet away from the tv. I love the fact that the text are much bigger and easier to read than before. As for playing video and movies on the tv, it's much much better than my old dell 2005fpw. The fact that the resolution on my tv is lower makes all movies look heck of a lot better than before (since the lower resolution means the pixels do not have to be stretched as much).

Alright, im just ganna get an LCD TV on boxing day then if I don't like it, i'll just return it easy. The only reason I don't want to buy a computer monitor is because I really don't want to get a TV tuner.
