Hi I've been trying to find a solution on how to run three monitors using just my single pci-e video card with two video outputs, but don't think my solutions would work out well. I've tried using s-video to test out on my lcd monitor which has a connection for s-video, but
i think it shares its output with the vga output, so I think I can only have one or the other.
The displays I would be using are a 20" lcd monitor (1600x1200), 19" crt (1280x1024), and a 37" display (1920x1080).
So i was wondering...my motherboard is sli capable, so comes with two pci-e slots. Would I be able to use a cheap second pci-e video card but not run in sli mode to drive the third display? What would that mean for my regular pc activity? Would it just mainly run games and such off of the video card that the monitor designated main is plugged into?
